King Industries is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to support disaster recovery operations as part of our debris monitoring team. Positions include Field Monitors, Debris Management Site (DMS) Monitors, and Task Force Leaders. These roles are essential to ensuring safe, accurate, and well-documented debris removal operations following natural disasters. We pride ourselves on hiring a local job force.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Professional communication and ability to work collaboratively with contractors and agency personnel.
Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to use mobile devices or paper forms to complete load tickets and site logs (training provided).
No prior debris management experience required — we provide comprehensive training.
Preferred but Not Required:
Experience in disaster response, construction, environmental work, or field inspections.
Prior work as a debris monitor, site inspector, or team lead.
Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a plus.

NOTE: Locations vary based on project sites throughout the New Mexico region making the employment type project-based/on-call deployment. Hourly pay is competitive and is based on role and experience.

Observe and document debris loading activities along roadways, drainage areas, rights-of-way, and other designated locations.
Verify debris types and volumes, complete load tickets, and ensure contractors follow established procedures.
Communicate effectively with truck drivers, supervisors, and King Industries management.

Track and document inbound loads at temporary debris management sites or disposal facilities.
Verify load quantities, inspect trucks for safety compliance, and maintain secure ticket/documentation controls.
Assist with data entry and real-time reporting to project management teams.

Oversee multiple field monitors within an assigned geographic area or project zone.
Conduct daily briefings, resolve field issues, and ensure accurate, complete documentation.
Coordinate with client representatives, debris contractors, and King Industries management to support smooth operations.
