Jady King, Founder and CEO

Jady King, Founder and CEO of King Industries Corporation, entered the disaster recovery and project management field almost by accident. While starting a manufacturing management business with his brother, their local community was struck by a devastating disaster. Drawing on his brother’s prior recovery experience, the two stepped in to help. Through that experience, Jady learned the complexities of disaster recovery firsthand. As word spread across the state about their work, other communities began reaching out for help—and King Industries was born out of the growing need for dependable, efficient project management with deep federal program knowledge.

Since its founding in 2012, King Industries has grown into a trusted leader in federally and state-funded infrastructure and disaster recovery management, overseeing more than $450 million in projects across New Mexico. This includes over $65 million in NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) efforts for wildfire and flood recovery, such as the Little Bear, McBride, South Fork, and Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon fires.

One project that stands out to Jady is the Sierra County recovery under FEMA DR-4152, where King Industries rebuilt the entire levee system across six major canyons surrounding private farmland and public infrastructure. Working for the Flood Commission, Jady and his team were tasked with designing naturalized levees that blended environmental preservation with flood protection. The project required close coordination with FEMA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to ensure compliance and approval. The result was a system of natural-flowing creek channels, reinforced with native vegetation, engineered to control smaller river basin flows while protecting vital agricultural and community assets—a model of balanced technical and environmental design.

A sixth-generation New Mexican, Jady takes great pride in combining local commitment with national expertise. His leadership has established King Industries as a go-to partner for agencies such as FEMA, NRCS, NMDHSEM, SHPO, and USACE, recognized for its regulatory knowledge, field experience, and results-driven approach.

Under Jady’s direction, King Industries continues to help communities rebuild stronger—maximizing available grant funding, coordinating with contractors and engineers, and ensuring every project delivers meaningful, long-term public benefit.
