Kenny Stahl, COO

As Chief Operating Officer of King Industries, Kenny oversees day-to-day operations, project delivery, and client coordination across all disaster recovery and debris monitoring programs. His role centers on operational planning, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with FEMA and state regulatory standards — all to deliver timely, efficient, and fully documented recovery performance.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from New Mexico State University (2004) and over a decade of hands-on experience in disaster recovery, Kenny has built his career on real-world execution. He entered this industry with a deep desire to make a difference in New Mexico — a state that often receives less attention in national recovery efforts. When he discovered a company focused on helping underserved jurisdictions rebuild after natural disasters, he knew he wanted to be part of that mission.

Two projects stand out as defining moments in Kenny’s career. The DR4795 Lincoln County Private Property Debris Removal project, conducted on behalf of NMDHSEM, involved documenting cleanup efforts for over 1,000 homes impacted by the South Fork and Salt Fires. It spanned nearly a year and required extensive coordination across internal teams, contractors, and jurisdictional partners. Another milestone was DR4199 in Eddy County, where Kenny managed recovery efforts following severe flooding that damaged nearly 120 miles of roads and infrastructure. At the time, it was the largest project worksheet in New Mexico history — and a testament to what focused leadership and collaboration can achieve.

Kenny’s journey at King Industries has been shaped by a deep understanding of every facet of the business. He began as a Project Manager, transitioned into the Controller role where he learned the financial and accounting functions, and ultimately stepped into the COO position after mastering the company’s operational ecosystem. This path has given him a unique perspective on how to lead with both precision and empathy.
